DeeAnna Heavilin - women leadership coach

DEEANNA HEAVILIN

DeeAnna Heavilin is one of the three strong women co-owners of She Leads Consulting and the entrepreneurial spirit of the business. DeeAnna has been leading teams of business consultants since her graduation from Texas A&M business school in 2011. She owns multiple small businesses herself, including an online women’s clothing boutique, Buttoned Up, that boasts a client list of over 10,000 women. She is the founder of Wisp Lash Lounge, a brand of luxury eyelash extension lounges offering women a luxury eyelash extension experience at each location. DeeAnna began her career as a project manager and client consultant for a major specialized business software company where she led client site visits and worked closely with business owners to gain control of their inventories, sales, receivables, and billing. She also developed the policies and procedures used by all the company’s trainers and software consultants. DeeAnna has spent the last 7 years working alongside her husband, Keith, as an operations manager where she oversees all operational, administrative and human resource functions.

DeeAnna’s experience with small business development and ownership has equipped her with a keen awareness of what makes small businesses and their entrepreneur founders successful. She specializes in business plan development, data analytics, and process plans for small businesses. Her strength is working one-on-one with business owners to increase their understanding of industry benchmarks while coaching them through common hurdles and pitfalls of operating a small business. DeeAnna brings the following unique talents to the She Leads experience: extensive knowledge of small business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); the demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams; experience applying innovation and creativity to solve problems; incredible interpersonal skills; first-hand knowledge of work-life balance and issues affecting working women; expertise in generational service and product needs and behaviors; a thorough understanding of the millennial market segment’s social media and e-marketing experience; expertise with a variety of web marketing and sales channels including blogs, podcasts, online chat, Youtube, Facebook, and many more. “My favorite thing about our data diving sessions is that we are able to teach our clients a whole new language,” said DeeAnna. “They’re obviously passionate about their industry and business, but the numbers side sometimes doesn’t come as naturally. I really enjoy working alongside business owners and developing a plan that not only helps their bottom line but gives them freedom in every sense of the word; time freedom, financial freedom, freedom from worry. Empowering business owners to run the best version of their business and live their best lives is extremely rewarding for me.”
